- Day 1: Moat to Casa Vieja
- Distance: 16 km
- Elevation: +170 m / -170 m
- Activities: Start at Moat outpost, walk along the Beagle Channel, wade through the Chico River, visit Yagan archaeological site.
- Day 2: Casa Vieja to Puesto Ibarra
- Distance: 9 km
- Elevation: +410 m / -390 m
- Activities: Ascend through grasslands, view Cape San Pío and lighthouse, descend to Vacas River, camp near Ibarra outpost.
- Day 3: Puesto Ibarra to Rancho Julián
- Distance: 15 km
- Elevation: +230 m / -255 m
- Activities: Walk along the beach and forest, visit El Orero ranch, see Nashachata shipwreck, explore Sloggett Bay, camp near Julián Ranch.
- Day 4: Rancho Julián to Playa Dorada
- Distance: 13.5 km
- Elevation: +420 m / -420 m
- Activities: Cross López River, explore fossilized forests, walk through dense vegetation, camp at Playa Dorada.
- Day 5: Playa Dorada to Playa Paraíso
- Distance: 9.5 km
- Elevation: +300 m / -300 m
- Activities: Walk through forests and peat bogs, reach Playa Paraíso, a protected bay.
- Day 6: Playa Paraíso to Puerto Español
- Distance: 15 km
- Elevation: +450 m / -450 m
- Activities: Walk to Punta Kinnaird, visit Gardiner Caves, explore historical sites, cross Bonpland River, reach Puerto Español refuge.
- Rest Days at Puerto Español
- Activities: Rest, recharge, enjoy refuge amenities, optional walks, and explore the area.
- Ground transportation one way to Moat (starting point) and return sail from Puerto Español, Bahía Aguirre, to Ushuaia (west-east option)
- Sailboat ride one way to Puerto Español (starting point) and ground transportation back from Moat to Ushuaia (east-west option)
- One night hotel in Ushuaia before the start of the expedition

Challenge yourself with a strenuous trekking expedition to Bahía Aguirre in Península Mitre, where you’ll encounter significant elevation gain and long distances. This adventure demands excellent physical fitness and intermediate trekking experience to successfully complete the route.
Prepare to trek through subantarctic forests, peat bogs, beaches, and rocky terrain, with the possibility of spotting native fauna such as condors, foxes, and guanacos.
